Silence is a feminist magazine that aims to give women a voice in a field — cinema — where they have too often been sidelined. Its title references both the silence enforced on a film set during shooting and the silence that has long been imposed on women. The magazine features interviews with Julia Ducournau, Iris Brey, Alice Winocour, Audrey Diwan, and many other inspiring women who discuss the Female Gaze and this new way of creating and experiencing cinema.
